About the Networking category

Do you need comrades to join your cause? Consult, contribute, criticize, send a link, cofound, or partner up with?
Tell us about your project. Again - freestyle is not gonna be moderated, but the better the presentation - the higher the chance to find a fit. I suggest mentioning:

  • which digital freedoms your project embodies in which way
  • what’s the structure? Not every traditional company must burn, but here we’d like to imagine a new future, so lets get these to the front: movements, DAOs, federations, coops, syndicates, unions, perpetual trusts, p2p networks, mutual aid networks, etc
  • what do you value there, as a human member? Is it very professional and to the point, without micromanagement and corp bureaucracy?
  • any support for the joining member? Please, no exploitative schemes like “pm for a quote”. If you don’t have a budget - tell so. If you do - don’t hide it, this is not a place to buy wage slaves.
  • which challenges do you face rn, why are you posting here, which skills or knowledge are you seeking for?
Do you want to contribute more, and find yourself a project that would electrify your soul? Don’t waste time updating and uploading your CV. We’re countercultural here, so the most important thing is the cultural fit. Activist burnout is common, and we’d like you to connect with humans you’ll enjoy working with, and projects that you sincerely feel good about.
So - tell us about your values, rolemodels, what kind of people you’d like to work with - and what you don’t like, what you stomached before, but don’t have to. Sharing hate towards screen-tracking soft is something that might contribute to a bond no less potent than liking democracy. It creates a fuller picture.

Do mention the hard skills you’d like to provide, and other relevant information, but remember that you’re a human and not a cog or a function. If you won’t be inspired - the project won’t be. And this is a place to live and realize your potential
